Georgia congressman Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) is a T-Boz fan!
While attending the season 3 premiere of We tv’s “Growing Up Hip Hop” at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture the congressman was asked about his musical taste, to which Johnson said he’s a “definite hip-hop fan.”
“Rap music is something I’ve been impressed with since its inception. Back in the late ’70s is when I first became aware of hip hop,” the Georgia Democrat told ITK.
Among his favorite artists?
“Jay Z, Eminem, Nas, Biggie was, of course Tupac, all the legacy guys. MC Lyte was a favorite,” Johnson said.
“T-Boz is the bomb,” he added of the TLC singer.
